Tory Christopher was born in Wiesbaden, Germany while his dad was on Tour of Duty with the USAF. He grew up in San Antonio and moved to California at age 19, where he became a professional Roller Derby skater with the Los Angeles Thunderbirds while attending broadcasting school. As a member of the T-Birds, he toured the United States, Mexico and Australia.
Returning to San Antonio, Christopher began his radio career doing overnights at KTSA. He continued in radio as the morning show host and then program director at Q-102 in Oklahoma, followed by on-air at Hot 97 in Lancaster, California before becoming a segment producer at KPFK in Los Angeles.
Back in Hollywood, Christopher spent four years in a small recurring role on "Days Of Our Lives" and as featured Starfleet Lieutenant, "Paxton Reece" on "Star Trek: Deep Space 9" for three and a half seasons. He was also a regular "extra" bar patron on "Cheers" and a KACL Employee on "Frasier", where he also helped design the radio station set for the series.
Remaining in Los Angeles, he spent several years as a talent agent, casting director and director of "Industrial" videos (training films).
Landing back in San Antonio, Christopher was eventually reunited with former radio colleagues Roger Allen and Dave Rios and has been at KONO since November of 2016.
His hobby is collecting hockey memorabilia and he currently plays ice hockey in a weekly adult league at Northwoods Ice.
