Private Ashton Douglas - Before joining the military, he was a high school quarterback and had the opportunity to play football at a higher level but made the noble choice to enlist with the U.S. Marines. His grandmother, who nominated Ashton has seen him grow from a boy to a man making tough decisions and showing a commitment to follow though with action.
