KONO Soldier Salute - Staff Sergeant Michael Rodriguez,

KONO salutes Staff Sergeant Michael Rodriguez, a native of Laredo, Texas where he graduated from Nixon High School in 2003. He enlisted in the United States Marines from 2010-2019 and immediately upon completion of basic training, MCRD San Diego. His first assignment was at Okinawa, Japan. He enlisted with US Army from 2019- current as an Infantryman. He is currently recruiting at Lake Jackson, Texas. He enjoys cooking out and relaxing by the beach.

Tory Christopher

Tory Christopher was born in Wiesbaden, Germany while his dad was on Tour of Duty with the USAF. He grew up in San Antonio and moved to California at age 19, where he became a professional Roller Derby skater with the Los Angeles Thunderbirds while attending broadcasting school.
