KONO salutes Seaman Russell Ratliff, a 2022 graduate of Steele High School. Ratliff serves aboard USS William P. Lawrence, a U.S. Navy warship operating out of Pearl Harbor and participating in the biennial Rim of the Pacific (RIMPAC) exercise in and around the Hawaiian Islands.

Tory Christopher was born in Wiesbaden, Germany while his dad was on Tour of Duty with the USAF. He grew up in San Antonio and moved to California at age 19, where he became a professional Roller Derby skater with the Los Angeles Thunderbirds while attending broadcasting school.
