It’s only popcorn, right? But a random act of kindness makes it so much more. She stopped at 7-Eleven at the end of a long and stressful day. She just wanted a bag of popcorn. You know, a little comfort treat. Well, a man about three times her size stood in line in front of her. He said, “You look tired”. She was uncomfortable having a strange man talk to her in the small store late at night. Then he told the cashier that he would pay for her popcorn too. Oh, no thank you. She didn’t like where this was going. But the man put down the money, told her that he hopes her night gets better, and turned and left. Random acts of kindness giving us an extra reason to smile and feel good this morning.
