Bob Dylan and John Mellencamp are both part of the Outlaw Music Festival Tour, headlined by Willie Nelson on September 12th in Ohio.  Mellencamp played “All Along the Watchtower” as the third song of his 12-song show at around 6.30 p.m. The crowd seemed to like the version. Then Bob Dylan took the stage, keep in mind Dylon retired the song from his live set about six years ago. It was 7:55 only and Bob Dylan opened his show the original version of the song Mellencamp had performed only 90 minutes earlier. Kind of sounds like a “I’ll show you young whipper snapper” moment.  Check out the videos below a tell me what you think.
