It was early morning. The road was dark. Hard to see. A mist blurring the car’s headlights. The traffic was slowing and moving around some kind of debris in the road. As Debra came up on the debris, she had an uneasy feeling. Something wasn’t right. She put on her hazards and got out of the car. Her instincts were spot on. The debris was a young man in dark clothing, face down on the road. She called out for help, asking another motorist to call 9-1-1. Her uneasy feeling prevented what could have been a real tragedy. The young man fully recovered. Thank you, Debra, for stopping to help.
