Roger grew up in Memphis, TN then came San Antonio in early 70’s where he listened to the Big 86 KONO-AM on his transistor and clock radios. A DJ at KONO AM in 1981 and again in 1984-85, Roger returned to KONO 101.1 in 1998. When it comes to San Antonio, he says: "I love SA! I spent a short time away pursuing my career but always knew I would return home to stay!" Roger’s pet project is the "KO-NO Kares for Kids" Radiothon benefitting the Children’s Shelter of San Antonio each December.
