Personal fireworks are now officially banned in Bexar County. If you're caught lighting fireworks in areas not deemed "safe" zones, it can mean a $1,000 fine and up to 180 days in jail.
There are EIGHT safe zones, two on the North Side, two on the West Side, four on the South Side, and one on the East Side.

Fireworks Hotlines
Bexar County:
Bexar County has a hotline to call to report illegal fireworks activity. That number is 210-335-FIRE. You can call that number starting at 4 p.m. on Thursday, July 3rd. The number will be set up until July 6th.
San Antonio:
The City of San Antonio also has a number to call. The number is 210-207-0202. That number goes into affect starting Wednesday, July 2 at noon.
